Air France to resume Daily Flights to the US this summer

Air France has announced that it will commence daily flights between Orly Airport, Paris and John F. Kennedy International, New York from the 27th of March 2022.

The airline also plans to restore its route between Charles de Gaulle, Paris, and Dallas-Fort Worth International airport. The route is scheduled to operate four times a week.

Furthermore, there will also be a seasonal summer flight service between Charles de Gaulle and Denver International airport from the 4th of May. The route is scheduled to be operated three times weekly.

The French national carrier began a gradual increase in its US routes following a lifting of travel restrictions for fully vaccinated visitors in November 2021.

Air France is estimated to serve 14 destinations in the United States by Summer. These include departures from Paris to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.

The airline stated that the goal is to be operating nearly 200 weekly US bound flights in the summer. This represents a 20 percent increase in the pre-pandemic summer schedule for transatlantic routes.

Finally, the “Ready to Fly” service, of Air France which allows passengers to request and receive confirmation that they have all required health documents for their trip, is now available on all Air France flights to and from the US.
