The number of International Students enrolled for study in the UK in 2021 was 38 percent higher than pre-pandemic levels.
A report provided by the Mitchell institute stated: “In the case of the United Kingdom, new International students are 37 percent higher than pre-COVID. By contrast, new student visa applications for Australia have plummeted by 70 percent in the one year period leading to September 2021.”
The United Kingdom government is targeting a 75 percent increase in enrolled International students by 2023.
