Netherlands received 3,732 applications for international protection in August, 2021. 3,337 filed applications for asylum as per data provided by the country’s Ministry of Justice and Security.
Syria, Turkey, Afghanistan, Somalia and Morocco accounted for the most significant number of first time applicants for August, 2021.
